Abandon Normal Devices

Empire Drive-In was commissioned for the 2012 Abandon Normal Devices Festival in Manchester, UK. The project was installed for a three day run of films, performances, sound pieces, and live cinema. Local collaborators included GNOD, Blue on Blue, and Tranarchy. Films included work by Gordon Matta Clark, Jem Cohen, Martha Colburn, Jorge Furtado, Brent Green, Buster Keaton, Lee Kern, Jason Mitcham and the Avett Brothers, Bryan Papciak, John Smith, Benh Zeitlin/Court 13. Features include Gravity Was Everywhere Back Then, Robocop, and Mad Max II: The Road Warrior.
